Chisholm Baptist Church exists by God’s grace and for His glory. Our primary responsibilities as a church are summed up in the “Great Commandments” to love God and to love others (Matthew 22:37-40) and the “Great Commission” to make disciples in all the world (Matthew 28:19, 20). This leads us to seek to fulfill our purpose in these ways:
LOVE GOD: By God’s grace, we commit to expressing our wonder and love for who God is and what He is doing through vibrant, God-centered, corporate, and individual worship.
LOVE OTHERS: By God’s grace, we commit to encouraging people to grow in their relationships with others and to express their love for one another in meaningful ways. This includes loving both those inside and outside of the body of Christ (Matthew 5:44).
MAKE DISCIPLES: By God’s grace, we commit to being disciples who make disciples. As followers of Jesus Christ, we want our actions and words to advance the gospel both locally and globally. We also desire to equip believers to grow in loving obedience to the Lord through his Word (Matthew 28:18-20).
