A Clash of Kingdoms: Paul Proclaims Jesus as Lord

BE THE MESSAGE. As Christians, we’re called to proclaim God’s name in all the earth (1 Chronicles 16:8), but how do we do that in the midst of false gospels? In this fifteenth volume of the That the World May Know video series, discover how Paul communicated the Good News of Christ to Philippi, a Roman colony that worshipped false gods. Can you “live” the message as Paul did while he encouraged the church in Philippi to consider itself a colony of heaven, not Rome? Consider your citizenship – and the message you convey to the world – as Ray Vander Laan takes you deeper into the culture of ancient Philippi.

Daniel: Staying Strong in a Hostile World

In the book of Daniel we get a first hand look at how Daniel and his friends seek to remain faithful in a foreign land. This is followed by a series of visions Daniel received showing how God would bring his people to live in his kingdom and under his rule.
This study is a group of women who seek to glorify God and take genuine care and concern for one another. We want to let the book of Daniel help us look differently at the challenges of living out our faith, and how you can trust God in an increasingly hostile world.

The letter to the Hebrews was written to show that you can't go back to an earlier stage of God's purposes but must press on eagerly to the one that is yet to come. In these studies by N.T. Wright, we find encouragement and assurance that pressing on, even in the face of such close and constant pressure to fall back, is its own reward.
